What an amazing day yesterday turned out to be.
Not only was it my birthday (and No!! I'm not telling you all how old I was) it was also our fourth beach gathering. We had a record number of owners and prospective owners turn out for the walk with (I think I counted right) 30 cocker spaniels and I think 4 non-cockers.

Every time we hold these walks I'm overwhelmed at the number of families that come and join us. It's so lovely to see every one and of course have sandy cuddles with all my grandpups, and in yesterdays case a great-grandpup.

This time we were joined by some new faces and it was lovely to see families who make the journey down the island each year and those who are lucky enough to live here.

As ever all the dogs attending where wonderfully behaved.

and a few cockers even found themselves in the sea much to their amazment.

as did a few of the Children although I'm pretty sure they knew what they were up to ;)
