Friendly service and relaxing views from the garden. Food is excellent with a good menu and specials board. This is a locals pub so it's full of Isle of Wight characters. Dogs on leads welcome (as long as they're friendly with the pub Golden Labradors). Parking at the pub. Calbourne Road Newport PO30 5SS Have you visited The Blacksmiths Arms? For the seafood lover in your family - they offer a nice range of steaks and local seafood. The pub is right on the seafront so a beach walk after dining is a good way to walk off that meal. NOTE: The pub is difficult to find with poor parking. 32 Forelands Field Road Bembridge PO35 5TR Have you visited The Crab and Lobster? If so, leave a comment about your experience for others. Right on the sea front, the ocean deck is only open during the tourist season. They offer a very tasty range of meals, and a fair few good beers. Children are welcome, but not sure if dog friendly (let us know!). The setting is very pleasant and meals can be taken out on the decks overlooking the sea.
