Yes. As a responsible breeder we do our best to find loving, stable homes for our puppies. Unfortunately life has its twists and turns - so to protect you, the puppy, and us - we insist that every new owner agrees to and signs our contract upon collecting your puppy. |

The Cocker Spaniel is, by breed standard, considered a "merry" dog or enthusiastically bonkers to you and I! They love having a cuddle and can often be found right behind you where ever you go. They are playful and enjoy a good walk and finding a scent to follow in the underbrush. |
No, we no longer dock our puppies - None of our Cocker Spaniels are working dogs. It is still legal to have Cocker Spaniels surgically docked by a licensed vet in England and Wales when certain requirements are met. The requirements are only relevant to working dogs and there are strict conditions and documentation required supporting the need for the docking that must be presented and approved by a vet. You can read more about Docking Cocker Spaniels & The law here. |
A young puppy will get plenty of exercise running around the house and garden playing with you. After your puppy is vaccinated it is a good idea to take him for short walks in the neighbourhood to hear a variety of new noises and meet new people (don't forget plastic bags and a poop scoop). Your puppy will enjoy playing games like chasing a ball and retrieving it. After gradually introducing longer walks, an adult Cocker Spaniel will exercise as much as you can! |

Yes we do have a waiting list. We don't home puppies to families based solely on a telephone call or an email, as we insist to meet all of our prospective puppy owners. |
Puppies cannot be guaranteed of show condition at a very young age, and are not sold as “show quality” – only as healthy, well reared and socialised family pets. |
Absolutely! Although we do our best to keep you up to date with photos on our website, there is no substitute for your own photos with your family and puppy when you visit. If you like, email us a copy of the photo and we'll be glad to put it on the website for you! |

Yes. The mother is, of course, always here. Our Diggory sires most of the litters so you'll be able meet him as well. If we have used another dog to sire the litter we will have photos and details of his pedigree for you to look over. |
As soon as the puppies are born, we fill out the registration papers and send them to the Kennel Club. We usually receive the pedigree papers before the puppies go to their new home. |
No. We do not, and will not, deliver a puppy or meet you half way. If it's too far for you to drive, then it's too far for a puppy to travel. |
