Hi Paige I have been meaning to e-mail you an update of Barnaby for ages but never quite get round to it ... but thought that today I must and what better day than his 4th birthday which Chris and I cannot quite believe!!! We hope all is going well for you on IOW, I am often on the website and all seems good - we are hoping to head in your direction sometime later in the year, and now that I see you have added dog friendly places to stay it makes is so much easier! So back to the man in question - Barnaby Pertwee .. he has grown into the most amazing dog, I am still continually stopped on walks to be told how fantastic he is, his coat is always shining, other cocker owners are always very jealous and he manages to look very regal much of the time!!

The attached photo was taken post birthday walk this morning, having taken part in his daily pheasant flush-out we came home for a rub down and a birthday biscuit!!! He and our little boy Henry (now 2 years) are great mates. I never did go back to work so Barnaby, Henry and I spend our days together enjoying lots of play time and walks - I have found Barnaby stretched out on Henry's bed a few times much to Henry's delight! I am two weeks away from having our second baby, and again no doubt Barnaby will be my saviour during night feeds, the company of a cocker spaniel always makes the early hours slightly more bearable!!! Take care, and again thank you so much for breeding us the most perfect dog, who fills this house with much joy and laughter, plus also lots of dust, dampness and hair - but we wouldn't be without him!
