Diggory to be retired. Print E-mail

Unfortunatley we had some bad news this week with regards to Diggory. He has been diagnosed with testicular cancer, and will be going into the vets next week for a castration. This should help him live a much longer healthy happy life but of course it means he will no longer be able to sire anymore beautiful DrackettCase puppies.
Thankfully Diggory is not "that" bright and probably won't even notice anything is missing. My baby boy will be staying with us here on the island and will fill his days with funtime on the beach, cuddling me and Gracie (once she likes him again) and taking the odd trip to see his Grandparents and Tulula in Cambridgeshire.

At present I have decided not to look for a puppy to replace Digg "studwise". We will have to wait and see how that one pans out. In the mean time I have my hands full with Maggie's and Gracie's beautiful babies, taking care of a healing Digg and putting the Chrimbo Dec's up.

Paige, so sorry to hear about Diggory, I hope he recovers soon. He is such a handsome chap and I am sure you are right when you say he won't notice anything is missing (Frankie, my OES didn't but he isn't very smart!!). All the best and lots of love and extra cuddles to Diggory. Karyn and Jess xx

Hi Paige and Travis
We are really sorry to hear Diggory's news! We hope he has an enjoyable retirement. Lily says not to worry, as she had her op 2 weeks ago and it's not too bad. Especially as she got even more cuddles than usual, they make it all worthwhile!

Hi Paige and Travis - We are so sorry to hear about Diggory's news - however, we, as I am sure do many other Drackettcase Cocker owners, have a lot to be thankful to him for, as if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have our beautiful little Crumble - we wish him a long, happy and healthy retirement x

Hi Paige and Travis
You must be devastated with this news and having met Diggory for the first time last week, we fell in love with him immediately. We wish him a very speedy recovery from the 'op' and a long and healthy life. Will be thinking of you all next week.
