Well our week started with my LAST day at work for the summer. I had a full day of training, the school had booked a talker for the day and he was to say the least FAB!!!!! Unfortunatley i didn't get chance to clear my desk so i will have to go in over the holidays at some point to do that.

Tuesday as you would expect the first day of the holidays and I was awake at 5.30am. however this gave me the chance to start my deep clean of the house. at about 8:30am this little chap arrived for his holidays.

This is Fin (from Gracie and Diggory's litter last year) Fin will be staying with us here at DCC for  al ittle over a week while his mum and dad catch a few sun-rays abroad. Both he and Maggie have been enjoying all this lovely sunshine we are having at the moment and I have been able to get some super photos of them in the Yard.

#

I have been trying to get some of them out on walks but Fin moves far too fast for the camera and walking 6 on my own i really need eyes on the dogs not the camera.

Fin has only been with us a couple of days and has already learnt a new game from his dad. He really likes this treat ball and happily played with it for hours :)

I spent most of Tuesday pampering (grooming) my five and Fin then come the afternoon I had another vistor Norman (from Suki and Diggory's litter last year) he had travelled over from the main land for a pampering.

Here he is after his blowdrying.

Catching a few rays in the yard

He was such a good boy on the table and so much like his mummy. i offered him alsorts of tastey treats but each one he sniffed and turned his nose up at them..... just like Su-Su (although from the size of her you would think she ate everything in sight ..... little fatty) I was told today by Ronnie's owner that they met Norman and his parents down by the seafront as they were making their way back to the ferry (Ronnie and Norman are brothers but different litters).

He had a great time playing with Fin and the girls in our yard while waiting for his mum and dad to collect him.

Wednesday was quite quiet we just did the normal walks in the field and games in the yard, Fin chased me while i hovered and tried to catch Vinnie. But Vinnie is far too fast and dog aware to get himself caught by some young scallywagg like Fin.

This morning the seond of our boarders arrived for his holidays. little Ted (Diggory and Gracies Grandpup) being too small to travel with George and his parents to Ireland for thier wedding has come to stay....... and don't we know he's here ;) we had two hours of solid playtime

before he crashed out to sleep.

With all the dogs asleep now in baskets around the lounge now you would never know we had seven yes!!! count them seven dogs in the house ;)

Tomorrow dawns the 25th which is my day for photographing everything. Trav has taken the day off work, Lily is coming for a pampering and I think weather premiting or not It's a trip to the beach!!!!!

What fabulous photos you have taken. Love the one of Maggie, so deep in thought. They are such happy dogs - we can't wait to have just one in the house again.... all good things come to those who wait I believe!!
