Dear Nanny DC, I've finally got my paperwork through saying that I've been accepted as a Pets As Therapy dog. My assessment was done at the back of a car park and genrally I just had to like being made a fuss of, not bothered about being held, brushed and loud noises (the assessor dropped a tin of stones) and not pull on the lead or mind if the humans talked for a bit (I didn't cos I was too busy getting the ball out of mummys pocket!!!!).
The assessor said I was almost 100% perfect PAT dog and wanted to take me home with her! Mummy said it was lucky she didn't see me pulling on the lead earlier...... Well I went to visit some Brownies today, mummy said they are doing things towards a companion pet badge and wanted a working dog to come in for the girls to ask questions about, and thought a PAT dog might be an intresting choice. (me being a working dog)
Mummy said I spent half my time today on my back being a lush in a circle of 8 or 9 girls rubbing my belly....doesn't she know that my jobs hard work!!!! I'm knackered now so must get some shut eye, Dylan xxxxx.
