Bella had her first hair cut on Sunday, Normally I'd like to leave it a few more months before doing a first hair cut, but it's been so hot lately and Bells coat is so thick. It's just not fair to make her suffer just because it's a few months too soon to clip her. She wasn't overly keen on the buzzing of the clippers but after she got the hang of sitting still (something she really can't do) things went quite smoothly.

She continues to be a treat and a joy to have about the place. although sometimes I still wonder WHY????? Times like when I come down stairs and find she has emptied the clean washing basket all over the floor (although seeing her curled up asleep in amongst the clean clothes she looked so sweet), and the time she dug a dug hole in the gravel out in the yard ( I thought she was being too quiet), She has given me a reason to make sure I tidy my crocheting away every evening, if I don't I have to spend three hours the next night winding the wool back into balls rather than huge matted piles of wool :)
