Life with Bella-Donna runs at one speed and one speed only. That's top speed!!!! She's always on the go, into everything and anything she thinks might be hers or anyone elses. I have to say our lives have been turned upside down. She really is a pain in my rear end but I wouldn't have it any other way I adore her totally and utterly I just wish sometimes she would slooooooooow down! and take a break. I worry that she's going to get her head bitten off one of these days when she just won't leave Maggie-Mae alone however many times she is told that the sweetie or toy is not hers to steal. Maggie won't share toys and Bella just doesn't seem to have got the hang of this bit of info.

She adores life and everything she can find she has to play with be it one of the other girls, the cat or a snail in the yard, she has mastered the stairs both going up and down them. The spare bedroom is a favourite new hidey place as she can wiggle under the beds and hide from me and the others. as you walk past the beds she will jump out and land on your feet with a little "woof". Sadly we haven't got the hang of toilet training. she really is dragging this one ou t, even with the back door pinned open she is happy to run about outside playing and barking but will 8 times out of 10 wander in the house to go for a pee. We are working on a full scale "outside pee" plan and she is enjoying the sweeties and praise when she gets it right but she's really not bothered either when she gets it wrong. She really is a PAIN IN THE BUTT!!! and I LOVE her!!!

Sunday I took her out for a good session of socialization both of the human and canine type
. Bella walked so far and she kept up really well. She still hasn't got the hang of the walking in a straight line malarkey but we are getting there, there's just so much for a little pup to look at and sniff up, She managed well and I tried to keep her on the same side as Suki-Su for most of the walk so she could follow Su's lead.
Some of you may have noticed I prefer a harness for puppies rather than a collar (although Bella wears a collar outside as well) I find I have far more control over Bella with the harness on. I can also lift her out of trouble easily when she needs a little help. I think collars pull too much on the neck of a dog and all my adults wear head collars (gentle leaders) for lead walking.
Boo was a little barky around other dogs so every chance we had for her to meet and greet another dog we got her in there saying hello. She was a little excited when we found another puppy for her to play with and the poor little Goldie pup was a little overwhelmed by all the fun. She was so over the barking by the end of the day and was happy to sniff the biggest hairiest new friend we could find for her.
Suki not really one for walking through markets and crowds was such a good girl. We let her have a good swim while we walked back to the car and I think she thought the rest of the day was a little blahhhh in comparison. Bella was so interested in what her Mummy was doing I let her try the water for herself. Keeping her harness on so I was able to help her keep her head above water and then lift her out when she was done. Although the cold water helped cool her down a little I don't think she was as taken with swimming as Suki was at her age.

My Beautiful Bella BooBoo

She has totally stolen our hearts But I think I need to buy shares in floor cleaner and kitchen roll!!
