Hunni-Bunni joined our growing family (so to speak) towards the end of Summer 2008.
I have known her since she was a tiny pup and have always loved her. She is a little sweetie very soft and gentle in her nature and totally bonkers just like a cocker should be, very much like our Maggie. Sadly she wasn’t getting on well with the other girls at her first home and her owners (my friends) had to make the difficult choice in finding her a new home.
Because we are still looking for our final settling place on the island Trav told me we couldn’t have her here (he’s right I just knew she would be a great addition to our family). Luck was on everyone’s side. “T” another really good friend of mine was in the position to have a dog and having met Hunni at mine a while before she offered straight away to take her on.

Hunni-Bunni was unsettled at first finding it different being a lone dog. She had never been alone before, but she soon settled into a routine with her new mummy and they very quickly became a partnership. Hunni loves the woods and can walk for miles, which is good because her mummy often goes out training and take Hunni with her.

Hunni often visits us on the island when her mummy goes away with work she stays here with us and mixes well with Digg and the girls, Just as I knew she would.
Hunni and her Mummy came over to stay with us for Xmas in 2008 and we took her on some great walks around the Island, she has become a much more confident little dog, happy to spend time alone or be in a group.

T and I plan to let Hunni have a litter towards the end of this year. She will come and stay with us on the island for the time that she has the pup and then she will retire and settle down to the life of an ‘old Lady’ like Molly-Jo, Tulula-Belle and Gracie-Lou, with her mummy in Cambridgeshire.

Hunni has also started taking agility classes and her mummy reports to me that she is doing very well at this. She took the seesaw for the first time this week all alone and perfectly!

She is such a clever girl, and a very loved little lady!
