Gracie-Lou is my name and making friends is my game... "Howdee!"

Howdee is american by the way for "Hello". I'm allowed to speak this lanuage as my Daddy is American and say's things like Yeehawwwwwww! and Howdee all the time. (this is my human Daddy not my real one as i'm very proud to be an English Cocker Spaniel) and a chocolate and tan one at that. I am a very clever cocker spaniel as I have my own blog that mummy helps me write. it's all about the things I get up to with my brother and sisters and the fun we have, if you have the chance you really should go have a look at it.

We had a great big garden to play in and loads of toys and things to chew. I was still only little when Diggory moved in. He was very poorly when he first came here and we where all very worried about him. Mummy used to sleep on the settee at night with him and i would join them coz i already loved Diggi loads. Diggi got better real quick and we soon became the bestest of best friends, we learnt how to dig up all the plants in Mummy's lovely garden and the plants that wouldn't be dug up well we just pulled all the leaves off them!!!!!

We used to sleep in a kennel during the day when mummy went to work but i didn't like this so i would "climb" up the tree in our yard and shout for mummy to come home. after i did this for a week mummy said we didn't have to stay in the horrid kennel any more and she turned it into a hairdressers for us doggies. it's much nicer in there now and i love to go there coz i always come out looking pretty and smelling of flowers.

A few times Diggory has gotten very very friendly with me and this has made me get very fat and feel a bit wiggley in my tummy when this happens I normally have puppies which always surprises me!!! Mummy say's I am a very good mummy but I like to sleep in a very tight curled up ball so when i had babies and they wanted to curl up next to my tummy i didn't really like this very much, Once i realised they just loved me and wanted to sleep with me i didn't mind too much and i was a very good mummy. 

I really like to play with my babies when i have them. Although I don't have babies anymore I like to play with Maggie and Suki's pups when they are here. I love seeing all my babies at the beach when Mummy holds her "Cockers on the Beach" parties twice a year.

Mummy say's she always wants to keep a baby girl from each of my litters "as you could never have too many Gracies" not sure what this means as i'm the only Gracie and Mummy's not having another Gracie??? is she????
I have a really Curly coat and all the other girlies in our house are very jealous of me coz I'm beautiful and clever.

I get called loads of names..... nice ones.....like Curly Girlie and Bumble. Sometimes Daddy say's "no-ones home" when he looks at me. I think this is when i fall asleep with my eye's open.
My favorite game is playing "Footsi" with daddy. the game is to bite Daddy's toes (quite hard) and he must tap (gentley) my toes with his. I'm allowed to used my teeth but Daddy isn't. i always win this game as i can tuck my feet under my tummy and still use my mouth, Daddy's not that clever....
We also have a cat called Vinnie who lives with us he is ok and sometimes he tries to share my bed, I don't mind a cuddle but he has to learn to keep those claws to himself!!!!!!!

In 2006 Molly and I moved to the seaside with Mummy and Daddy. Diggory and the little girls didn't come with us for a long time they stayed with Grandma (mummy's mummy) and the grannylady at Jafare. I really missed Diggory lots. We saw him and Christmas he was with Auntie Tula and Grandma. Luckily Mummy remembered where she had left the baby girls and she went and collected them just before valentineys day. So we was all together again, Molly and me showed the others all the best places to play and let them sniff about the new house. we only have a little house at the moment but Mummy says that one day we will move to a nice big house again with a garden just for us to play in. I miss seeing Grandma every week now we live here on Da IsleDaWight but I do like the seaside, it's great fun playing in the water and bringing all that gritty sand home to put in Mummy and Daddy's bed, although they don't like it much.

Not sure why???

Mummy said I have to go to the vets soon and have an operation so that I don't get fat anymore and have wriggley tummy's. I am sad that I won't have anymore puppies but I am too old now and I can just sit back and watch the baby girls do all the hard work while I just do the odd bit of babysitting from time to time.
